Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
Clasidocs is a local study-notes app. It does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data, and it has no account, backend, analytics, or tracking.
What we store, and where
All content you create — photos, PDFs, voice notes, text notes, and your timetable — is stored only on your device. We never receive it, and it is never uploaded to us or to any third party. Deleting the app removes its data from your device.
The one time Clasidocs uses the internet
When you save a web link (for example a YouTube video or an article), Clasidocs
requests that link's preview image — such as a YouTube thumbnail or the page's Open Graph
(og:image) image — directly from the linked website, the same way a
web browser would, in order to show you a preview.
- This request is made only for links you choose to save, and only to display a preview.
- The linked website receives that request and your device's IP address, exactly as it would if you opened the link in a browser.
- The result is not sent to us or to any third party, and is not used for tracking or advertising.
- Clasidocs has no other network communication. If you never save a link, the app makes no network requests at all.
Permissions
Clasidocs asks for the camera (to photograph your classes), the photo library (to add existing photos and videos), and the microphone (to record voice notes). These are requested in context the first time you use each feature, and the captured content is stored only on your device.
Children
Clasidocs is rated 4+ and is suitable for students. It contains no ads, no social features, and no data collection.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
